A waterproof ripstop jacket built for forestry work, with vents that keep you from cooking and a hood that packs the whole thing away.
Tree planting chews through gear: branches, snags, constant abrasion, and weather that changes by the hour. This jacket is built for exactly that. A 420-denier oxford polyester with a Nailhead Ripstop weave resists tears and punctures from branches and tools, and a PVC coating with taped, heat-sealed seams makes it fully waterproof and windproof. Front and back vents let heat out during hard physical work, which is what separates this from a rain shell that leaves you soaked from the inside. Two large cargo pockets carry your gear, and the detachable hood converts into a pouch that stores the entire jacket when the weather clears.
