Working on fresh asphalt means standing on a surface that can destroy ordinary boots and exhaust your feet. The COFRA Road Paving Boot is purpose-built with a specialized thermal shield to protect you from the intense, radiating heat of the job.
Description Engineered specifically for the demanding environment of road construction, every component of this boot is designed for heat resistance and safety. The foundation is the Heat Defender nitrile rubber outsole, capable of withstanding contact temperatures up to 300°C / 572°F without melting or degrading. Inside, a special Thermic Insole insulates the bottom of your foot, blocking ground heat from reaching you. The water-repellent leather upper is lined with breathable Cambrelle® to wick away sweat, keeping you dry and comfortable. For complete protection, the non-metallic APT Plate midsole prevents punctures from job site debris, while the entire boot is Electrical Hazard (EH) rated.
